Today I was creating a paddle for our class waka that has a strength on it, I chose the phrase "Growth Mindset". I used the symbol of the tree because growth mindset means having a good attitude on something just like having good roots for the tree to grow, and the arrow represents increasing or going higher. Wow Maui I like how you have used a tree as a metaphor to describe the meaning of having a Growth Mindset as it represents the term 'growing' - growing a positive mindset towards achieving good learning and personal goals and achieving them at high standard. I already see you developing a growth mindset in the classroom especially during group learning tasks and within the completion of your learning tasks across the curriculum. Keep it up Maui!
