Bloom's Taxonomy Current Events - The Olympics

WALT: Use Bloom's Taxonomy thinking skills to critically summarize a current event.  

Today I worked with my Classmates Siale, Amelia and Rosana. We were Reviewing a article about the polluted waters in Rio and how it is affecting the Rio 2016 Olympics, we were reviewing the article using the Bloom's Taxonomy thinking skills. We did our work with Pen and Paper and manage to finish but left one Idea unfinished. Today I think we managed our time really well and we were efficient and got lots of work done! Next time we could improve on talking a little bit less, doing work before adding our decorations and being much more organized when presenting our work. For remembering we were talking about who was the main person involved in the article, we were also talking what was the main idea of the article and were also talking about when was the event. For understanding we had to come up with 5 key ideas that relate to the article and then we had to come up with a short summary using those 5 key words. For applying we had to come up with an idea of who we would like to interview about the article and the problem and we also had to come up with questions to ask that person. For analysing we had to come up with evidence to support our article. For evaluating we had to come up with the positives and negatives about the article. For more evaluating and analysing we were coming up with our point of views about the article, and our other people in groups point of view. Please leave a comment and I will get back to you soon!
